Addition Problems

A generator of addition problems. Choose the range: up to 5, 10, 20, 100, 1000, 10 000 or a million. With two addends you decide whether the problems cross the ten, do not, or are mixed. In most ranges you can also choose three, four or five addends, for example 6 + 3 + 7 = 16. The sum never goes over the chosen range.

On the website you place the problems on a worksheet in columns, with lines for working or as comparisons, and add an answer key if you like. They also go on cards such as memory or dominoes, or into multiple-choice questions. Every time you generate, you get new problems.

Ranges up to 5 and 10 suit preschoolers and Year 1 (kindergarten), larger numbers suit the rest of primary school.
