Board 12 – Open Question

A worksheet for a self-checking board with twelve numbered tiles. It works with the miniLÜK control board. Twelve numbered problems or questions sit at the top, twelve fields with results at the bottom, and a coloured check pattern in the middle. Results repeat on the sheet, so tasks and fields have coloured backgrounds: the right field is given by the result together with the colour.

Build the problems in the exercise builder, or choose an open-answer generator such as unit conversions, fractions or time remaining. The child solves each problem without offered options, finds the result on the matching colour and puts the tile there. After flipping the board the child checks the pattern. If the result is not on the sheet at all, the child knows at once there is a mistake.

It suits independent work, arithmetic practice and revision from primary school up.
