Chemical Elements in Order
All 118 chemical elements in order of atomic number, from hydrogen to oganesson. Each element is a pair of values and you choose which: atomic number and name (in Czech, English or Latin), atomic number and symbol, Czech and Latin name, or symbol and name.
On the website you place the list into materials where children put items in order: on a string, in a word chain, in a sequencing puzzle, in a dot-to-dot or in a self-checking frame. The items are printed shuffled and the child arranges them in the right order. For ordering tasks it is worth choosing only part of the table, for example the first twenty elements.
It suits chemistry in lower and upper secondary school, when pupils learn element names and symbols. The Latin names explain why sodium has the symbol Na.
