Czech Noun Case Quiz
Elementary individually · in pairs print prep 2–5 minFREECzechquizfree
A set of questions on the case and number of Czech nouns. Each word form comes with three options, for example “absencí”: genitive plural, instrumental plural or locative plural. The set has over 4,300 forms across all seven cases, singular and plural. The words stand alone without a sentence, so children have to know the endings and, where endings are shared, pick one of the options.
On the website you place the questions on a multiple-choice worksheet or into self-checking games where children check the answer themselves. Every time you generate, different words are picked.
It suits Czech-speaking children from Year 5 (4th grade), when they decline nouns by pattern, and older pupils revising grammar.
