Czech Nouns – Gender, Number, Case

Elementary individually print prep 2–5 minFREEfill-in sheetsCzechfree

A set of Czech sentences where the child fills in the gender, number and case of a marked noun. In the sentence “Chlapec napsal úkol.” (The boy wrote his homework.) the word chlapec is masculine, singular, nominative. There are two levels: the first has shorter sentences, the second longer and harder ones. Altogether there are over 2,000 sentences.

On the website you place the sentences on a worksheet with boxes to fill in, and add an answer key if you like. Every time you generate, different sentences are picked, so each child can have a different sheet.

It suits Czech-speaking children from Year 5 (4th grade), when they identify the grammatical categories of nouns, and older pupils revising.
