Division Problems

A generator of division problems with no remainder. Choose a divisor from 2 to 15 and the generator makes problems such as 56 : 8 = 7. The answer is always a number from 1 to 10, so the division stays within the times tables. Pick several divisors and the problems are mixed.

On the website you place the problems on a worksheet. Choose a column layout or one with lines for working, and add an answer key if you like. The same problems can go on game cards, for example memory or dominoes with the problem on one half and the answer on the other. They also work as multiple-choice questions with two to six options. Every time you generate, you get new problems.

It suits children from Year 3 (2nd grade) practising division facts. Divisors 11 to 15 are for older children.
