Frame 10 – Shadows

A card for a self-checking frame with ten coloured buttons (compatible with LOGICO PICCOLO). The front shows ten black shadows of pictures, each with a coloured marker, and a column of ten words. The back shows the same pictures in colour and the words coloured to match the right button. The shadows sit in two columns or are scattered across the card.

On the website you pick ten pictures from the gallery or upload your own with a transparent background, and choose the language of the labels. Print the card double-sided and cut it out. The child works out what each shadow is and slides the button of the marker's colour to the right word. Then they turn the card over and compare the colours. Without a frame, coloured pencils will do.

Suitable for preschoolers with an adult who reads, and from Year 1 on their own. Children recognise objects by outline and read words.
