Times Tables Practice

A generator of times tables problems at three levels. The full table gives problems from 1 · 0 up to 10 · 10. The harder level leaves out ones and tens, so both factors are from 2 to 9, for example 7 · 8 = 56. The easiest level multiplies only by 2, 3 and 4, up to five.

On the website you place the problems on a worksheet in columns, with lines for working or as comparisons, and add an answer key if you like. They also go on cards such as bingo or dominoes with the problem and its answer, or into multiple-choice questions. Every time you generate, you get new problems.

It suits children from Year 3 (2nd grade) starting multiplication, and revision of the whole table in later years.
